10 June
2015-07-04
Today - June 10th - is Hidradenitis
Suppurativa Awareness Day.
Many of us are wearing blue today in support
of our wonderful colleague (and aspiring Health Economist) who suffers from this
rare and difficult illness.
(The "blue ribbon" is the recognised
symbol for this illness).
The response here has been overwhelming -
you have a lot of moral support and your spirit in this battle is a BIG lesson
for all of us –
Bless you!
-------------------------------------------------------------------.
Back on TV today! I think it is time that I get an agent.
This time it was TV6 to talk about the
Global Entrepreneurship Monitor.
Footage courtesy my great cameraman Nicole
Bailey .
This time I told the hair stylist to feel
free to unleash her full creativity.
Interestingly her instrument of choice was a
powder puff, and the style that she came up with was the same one that I got at
CNC3 a couple of weeks ago.

Muchas
Gracias, Mi Hermano Y Mi Amigo, Sir Angel,
I am sending this to Sir Anthony (Knight
Judge),
Sir Anthony you spoke about 14 younger
members at the luncheon for Fr. Cutty.
Well if you have time to get to the bottom
of this, internet, a chain letter, but I am sending to brothers to only read, I
am sending it out, so you don't have to.
I got this right after Sir Anthony email, so
I just went with the flow, there is no logic.
It’s just the Light, it´s Invisible, it’s a
Miracle,
Some of us call it the Club.
Lesson today, numbers are very important to
us.
Cheers, God Bless –
Adios, Glen.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------.
Cheers, Sir Anthony,
So wonderful to read of the luncheon with
Fr. Cuthbert, we wish him all the best.
Trinidad politics starting to look like
Coronation street ha! ha!
What a mess.
Promises & lies, now I see we have a new
party, I don't know their agenda yet ha! ha!
Yes, Sir Tony, you are older than the 14
that attended, but I would also feel the same, with brothers are under 59,
unbelievable the age groups, I know we have two generation like father and son
attended the mount, but do we have three generations, grandfather, son, grandson??
ha! ha!
You said you had cowheel soup, the last time
I had that, my father made it, man that would make you strong like ah bull ha!
ha!
You said my name was mentioned, I hope it
was all good ha! ha!
I have been in hot & cold water with the
administration for years.
Any how so good to hear from you and thank
you for the update.
Only God knows the future of Trinidad, I
have not seen any positive solutions.
Cheers my dear brother & friend, keep
that smile ha! ha!
Adios, Glen.

Cher Glen,
You were mentioned at a small get together
at the Abbey.
Joe arranged a luncheon with Fr. Cuthbert.
Cutty looks well.
He uses a walker but his mind is alert.
We had a special cowheel soup that was very
tasty with homemade bread and banana bread/cake and soft drinks were included
.there was no liquor.
Perhaps it was good idea.
Perhaps Joe thought if some of us had
exceeded the limit we may have tried to get to the Eastern main road the short,
straight way -straight down ha! ha!
None of my years were among the 14 who
attended.
I realise I am getting old, or older. Well,
I am 75.
The election date of 7th September was
announced by the PM yesterday.
The silly season is upon us with Jack Warner
in the news.
Many are of the view that Uncle Sam should
mind his own business and the BBC should leave the man alone.
Others say it is because the USA and England
were not successful in their bids for the 2018 and 2022 world cup games.
Most are infuriated about the 5 minute TV
segment with John Oliver who made fun of the way we speak among other things.
How low can one get in politics???
Basdeo Panday was right when he said,
"Politics has a morality of its own".
He should have used the word
"immorality".
Kind regards,
Anthony

Harold Imamshah Excellent; was a Reunion
held and was an Alumni Association formed?
That was a lot of admirable work.
Keith Allen
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi, Fr. Harold. Apparently it never
happened.
When I left I wanted to join the association
and enquired of it.
Fr Superville who was the principal at the
time indicated that nothing was happening with the association and gave me the
file to see if I could do something.
I tried but unfortunately it never got off.
I was doing some cleaning and came across
the file compiled by the beloved Ms "Kitty"Marcus with most of the
names of the Abbey Old Boys I think I need to scan it and post Bless up
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sir Art did a lot of work, but you must
remember no internet, so he relied on mailing letters, very slow process,
He is still in contact with those boys from
that time.
I know Sir Nigel Boos is a
past president of that same group.
Sir Joseph B M Drax, did
keep a fire burning and was in contact at all times with father Cutty, and kept
a local chapter active for many years, however, there were no contact with the
boys outside Trinidad.
Then Sir Ladislao Kertesz put us
on the map, and here we are now 2015,
The Ox is slow but the Earth is patient.
As it was written, many things will be
revealed, at the appropriate time, thank Sir Keith Allen, perfect timing & thank you
for your silence for so long, a job well done, we have 107 members on facebook,
right here & right now,
So that’s His-Story,
Cheers Glen,

Hello, Douglas,
It is good to hear from Douglas Houk after
all these years.
I don’t live in St Kitts anymore, but in
Anguilla.
You are welcome to drop by anytime.
Do remember that depending on your passport
you may need a Visa.
If you are travelling on a US passport there
will be no problem getting into Anguilla, but a Columbian one, for example,
will.
I hope you have been checking out Ladislao’s
Circulars on the website:
We have not put up any for a couple of
weeks, but it should soon be updated, when Ladislao gets a moment of free time
to work on a new one.
It would be good, if you ever did get one of
your children to put some of your photos on the computer as you promised Nigel
some years ago, if you could send Ladislao a paragraph or two on your
adventures in the Navy or in business in South America, or even on your garden
in Texas.
Then we can put it in one of the Circulars
so your old schoolmates can catch up on your news.
Keep well,
Don

For me: 13 out 13 correct, 100%...At 70,
brain still working OK.
Exercise your mind by taking this 13
question test and see where you fall in the demographics.
Here’s a quiz to test how much science
adults know.
Only 7% of the adult population got all 13
questions correct.
See how you do.
Check out the demographics at the end.
They're pretty interesting
Good fortune to all,
George
